Learn how to select more than one section of

text or objects at a time

Windows

To select parts of text from around a document you would select the first section, then hold Ctrl while you choose the rest of the text you want.

To select multiple objects at once, hold the Ctrl button while clicking on the objects you want to select.

Fun fact: This works for both PowerPoint and Word!

Under the Home tab, click on Select, and choose if you want to select everything on the slide, all the objects on the slide, or to open the Selection Pane.

The Selection Pane opens a sidebar that you can select individual object. This is helpful if your slide is cluttered.
