Transfer Support for Undocumented Students at Sierra

Career and Transfer Connections has expanded support for ALL students with career and transfer goals, with a special focus on our undocumented students. We’ve added resources across campus, including new workshops and weekly opportunities to connect with college representatives.

To further support undocumented students, Career and Transfer Connections created a handout highlighting colleges with Dream Resource Centers and Undocumented student supports. During Undocumented Student Action Week 2024, our team also attended UndocuAlly trainings to better understand the needs of undocumented students and how to best support them. Our goal is to empower every student to pursue their goals with confidence, regardless of immigration status.

Students can book appointments (virtual and in person) via Sierra Connect - via email ctc@sierracollege.edu , or by calling the office at (916) 660-7481! Career and Transfer Connections is located in the LT building for students who'd like to stop by and pick up resources or make an appointment!
